Practitioner Development Programme

For Three Principles Practitioners to Deepen Their Practice, Build Ease, Confidence, and Make a Bigger Impact

What is Practitioner Development

Five years ago I had a very strong inspiration to provide a different kind of learning resource for active Three Principles Practitioners.

It was clear to me that existing practitioners do not necessarily need further training, although they might want to focus on their learning, their practices and their impact.

For me, watching other practitioners work and discussing my clients with them was an extremely rich experience and one that is not widely available to practitioners. I developed The Practitioner Development Programme to provide this kind of learning to a wider group of the worlds existing practitioners. The experiences and outcomes for the practitioners on this programme tend to be impactful to the work they are doing, affecting the way they approach their work in ways that has often surprised them.

I have redesigned the programme, based on the experiences and observations of the first two years. I have retained and built on the impactful elements of the programme and also changed it to make it more accessible internationally without losing any of the engagement and richness. This is a programme I am very proud of based on its results and contribution to our field.

What You’ll Gain from the Practitioner Development Programme

When you join, you’ll experience:

  • Real-World Learning: Access monthly recordings of Aaron working with a variety of clients, giving you a feel for how he works as well as practical insights into real client scenarios across diverse topics and challenges.
  • Expert Guidance: Participate in live webinars where you can ask Aaron questions, share your observations, and dive deeply into the nuances of your challenges and your practice.
  • Customized Support: Bring your own client cases or challenges to the group, and see how the programme adapts to your needs. Previous participants have even had Aaron work with their suggested clients!
  • Connection and Collaboration: Learn alongside a community of practitioners actively working in the field. Share your experiences, challenges, and successes, and gain fresh perspectives from others who truly understand the work.
  • Enhanced Confidence: Watch your confidence grow as you deepen your understanding of the Three Principles in action and see the tangible impact on your practice and clients.
  • Accessible Learning: With sessions scheduled for time zones across the UK, US, and Europe, and recordings available for replay, the programme fits seamlessly into your life.
  • Develop your learning and expertise: Over the year you will get a feel for being a student of your work so your learning and impact can continue to grow.

What You’ll Walk Away With

  • A more grounded, impactful approach to your client work.
  • The ability to see deeper themes and drivers in your practice, helping you work more effectively with clients.
  • The confidence to explore new approaches and grow your practice in ways you didn’t think possible.
  • A strong network of like-minded practitioners to support you long after the programme ends.
“In the sessions I have seen a whole new level of depth and subtlety that I hadn’t seen before. The confidence with which I’m working has fundamentally changed."
EL Coach
"Since I started this programme I have created a whole new business because I felt the sessions were a safety net that allowed me to go out, mess up and, learn new things and come back here, and have somewhere to explore them."
Nicola Bird Transformative Coach
"One of the things that I find so valuable about being on this programme is that you are with other people who are actually doing this work, not just learning about the principles, but out there in the world doing the work.” ."

Programme Details

The programme is centered on being able to discuss our actual work and practices. I want participants to see the deeper themes and drivers in our work through the work we are all doing. The focus of the programme is our work, our clients, our objectives and our challenges. Each month there will be:

At least two recorded sessions per month of Aaron working with  a client. These will include as much variety, client types, issues and focus as possible.

A 1.5 hour webinar for discussions and questions about the client session or your clients and work.

Webinar recordings for playback.

Webinars

During the webinars we will have a chance to:

  • Discuss the client sessions. You can ask Aaron questions and share observations to get as much learning as you can from watching the sessions.
  • Bring up and discuss the challenges in your work whatever they might be.
  • Open question and answer time to ask about whatever would be most useful for you about your
    work and clients.

To some degree you set the focus of the programme. Aaron and the client sessions are just a support for your learning. If you have a certain client of type of client you want to see Aaron work with, this can often be arranged. In the last three programmes Aaron worked with a number of clients put forward by the participants. During the webinar discussions, the rest of the group can also be as much of a resource for you as Aaron and it is fantastic to see how the different themes and challenges come out in different people’s work.

The webinars start at 6pm UK time so are timezone friendly for the US, Canada and Europe.

Virtual Retreats

In addition to the monthly recorded client sessions and the monthly webinars, the programme will open and close with a 1 day (or 2 half-days) virtual retreat. These were added as Aaron thought it would be lovely to have time to be together and connect, to start and finish the programme together. They are not compulsory to attend, however, recordings might not be made. They are an added resource that we think will make the programme richer.

Opening retreat

The retreat will include a previously recorded client programme (Aaron working with a client) and a chance to discuss those sessions. The retreat is also a chance to get a feel for the foundations of the programme and for Aaron to get to know you.

Closing retreat

This retreat will be a chance to get together again (virtually), share and reflect on the year's programme. In the last few programmes this has been a very rich element.

2025 Schedule

The webinars will be scheduled to be time-zone friendly. Each webinar will have no more than 25 people attending so there will be time and space for everyone over the duration of the programme.
