If you have experienced the life changing potential of understanding the principles and realized the possibilities it has for others and for the world and you are drawn to help others or contribute to the social impact it will have, our Practitioner Foundations program is designed for you.
The One Thought Foundations Program
The Foundations Program is designed to provide aspiring practitioners with an understanding and exploration of everything you need to:
- Effectively share an understanding of The Principles
- Continue to deepen and develop how you share an understanding of The Principles
- Continue to deepen the impact that your work has for you and for your clients.
The most fundamental piece in working with clients is really knowing what matters and what does not. What are the key foundations for what we are doing and what is not. This program is all about identifying, exploring and understanding the core fundamentals. It is focused on gaining an appreciation of what drives and determines the impact and quality of the work we do.
The Foundations Program isolates and highlights the essential foundations of Principle based Practice.
In person training sessions
The course has been designed by Aaron Turner based on seventeen years of professional practice in multiple field’s including individual and couples counseling, business consulting and training and over 10 years mentoring, training and designing programs for practitioners. Aaron will lead all the three-multi day trainings. These three 2.5 day events will focus on:
The core fundamentals. What are the core fundamentals of working with others and what does the practitioner need to know to use these fundamentals effectively.
How do the core fundamentals play out in all aspects of working with clients.
How do the core fundamentals provide the basis for what you want to do and your continued learning and the development of the quality of your client work.
Learning from the best: Core webinar courses
Because we want you to gain a rich appreciation and keen focus on the fundamentals, we want you to learn in a meaningful way from the best. We are thrilled and honored to offer three webinar courses as part of the program.
Each course is from a first generation, leading practitioner personally mentored and developed by Sydney Banks. Practitioners who have pioneered Three Principles work and overseen its development for the past 40 years and have constantly distilled and deepened their own appreciation of the fundamentals. Elsie Spittle, Linda Pransky and George Pransky will each distill the essence of the foundations in their course to pass that on to you.
Elsie Spittle has been an internationally recognized trainer and consultant for over four decades. She is in the unique position of having known Sydney Banks, originator of the Three Principles, before he had his epiphany. She witnessed the extraordinary change that occurred in him and the unprecedented impact his work had on thousands of people, and how this has brought about a new paradigm in the fields of psychology and psychiatry. Elsie had the privilege of receiving “on the job” training directly from Mr. Banks, travelling with him to address mental health prac titioners, educators, and others seeking a deeper understanding of life. She is considered the first formal teacher of the Principles, after Sydney Banks. Elsie is co-founder of the Three Principles School, based on Salt Spring Island, BC.
Dr. George Pransky is one of the two professional founders of the understanding of The Principles of Mind, Thought and Consciousness. He has taught the Principles for over thirty years to individuals, couples, businesses and colleagues. Dr. Pransky is the author of The Relationship Handbook and over fifty audio recordings. During his career he has served on the faculty of three graduate universities and continues to pioneer this understanding in new industries. Currently he is a partner at Pransky and Associates and on the executive committee of the Three Principles Global Community.
In 1976, George Pransky and his wife Linda stumbled on a new way of helping people that was radically different from the traditional counseling methods they’d been using in their work. The new principles they were learning had a huge impact on their personal lives, their relationship and the way they worked with their clients. They began to teach these principles and became pioneers in a new field of psychology that profoundly changed their clients in a short amount of time. During her career Linda has had a passion for training other practitioners in. Away that improves their impact and capability. Linda was a core faculty member on The One Thought Institute and is currently on the executive committee of the Three Principles organization (3PGC) and Senior Partner at Pransky and Associates.
The Foundations Faculty
Your exploration and feel for the foundations will be supported by a hand picked team of practitioners who, although relatively new to the field, already have growing and impactful practices. They are demonstrating the ability to have a thriving practice and a social impact by understanding and using The Principles as the sole basis of effective practice and practice development. They have all been using this foundation and it has allowed them to develop their work easily and effectively.
They represent what is possible: to be an impactful practitioner through a grasp of the basic fundamentals.
Without a lot of noise and fuss, they do great work, have impact, get referrals and opportunities using just what this program is providing: a workable grasp of the fundamentals and these thriving practitioners are here to support and oversee your learning.

With over 20 years of delivering services and senior management experience in industry Jacqueline Hollows changed direction in 2012 after learning about a new understanding of how the mind works and its relationship to addiction, compulsion and mental health. Jacqueline became passionate about eliminating stigma, building communities and revolutionising the way mental health and addiction is viewed and treated, particularly within the Criminal Justice System. Jacqueline founded Beyond Recovery C.I.C in 2013 and has been working within the prison system and the community since then delivering workshops and services to those suffering with addiction and mental health issues and the professionals who support them. As part of this work Jacqueline has mentored a growing team of practitioners and volunteers.
Jacqueline is delighted to be part of the faculty for the new OneThought Foundational Programme “I joined the OneThought Professional Institute as a student when I first started working in the prison system. I thought I pretty much knew what I needed to know as I had created a business and was already teaching the principles. The reason I joined was because I realized that one of the biggest ways I could impact my clients (the prisoners) would be to become really grounded in my own understanding. The OneThought Institute delivered above and beyond my expectations. Immensely pragmatic and simple, the team pointed me to a deeper and simpler level of understanding, which has turned into incredible results with my client group. Working with OneThought and my peers on the programme has enabled me to grow my business exponentially, increase my impact and create sustainable change in my own life and the lives of the people I work with.”
Jacqueline is enthusiastic about the new Foundational Programme because it is focused on social solutions and ensuring a depth of grounding in anyone wishing to teach this understanding.

For over twenty years Debbie has been working as a teacher for students with language learning difficulties, helping them to achieve their true potential in an academic setting.
When she first came across the Three Principles at a conference in London, despite her initial skepticism, she came away with a hopeful feeling of wonder, curiosity and a fascination to learn more.
Having completed the One Thought Institute, Debbie continued her learning on their Graduate Program and started her own private practice which offers sessions for individuals and facilitation to groups who are interested to experience the wonderful benefits of this understanding. She is also an associate practitioner of the Innate Health Centre where she enjoys working with a wide variety of clients from children to senior citizens in a range of different settlings, and feels privileged to be witnessing the transformational impact of this understanding on their lives.
Debbie is the proud mother of her two teenage sons, whose innate health, wisdom and kind, joyful natures are a constant source of inspiration to her.
“When I began my practitioner training with One Thought, I already knew that there was nothing more valuable in life than an understanding of the Principles and yet I was struggling to articulate it clearly and effectively. Through the course of the training, I found myself on a thrilling trajectory of learning, which deepened my understanding and brought it into a much sharper focus, until I arrived at a point where I knew I was completely ready to share this with anyone at any time and in any setting. The value of what I have learned continues to show up for me in my own day to day life and whenever I find myself sharing an understanding of the Principles; I am so grateful to have had the privilege of such a rigorous and empowering training. It is very exciting for me to be in a position to share and pass on what I have been learning to others who are keen to get this understanding out into the world and I feel privileged to be a part of the new One Thought faculty for 2017.”

Pre the 3 principal understanding Susan was a homeopath by trade and still does some clinics at Neal’s Yard Covent Garden.
Susan is the mother of two grown up sons. She has a partner and loves sharing how this understanding has enhanced her personal relationships.
