“The User Guide to Life – It’s Easier Than You Think”

London, 25 January 2015

Have you ever experienced a situation in which you could really have done with a manual to get you through?

If you resonate with any of the following, you’ll love to hear what we have to share at this conference:

  • You’ve often wondered “is this all?” and, despite the appearance of a wonderful life, don’t always feel fulfilled or content.
  • You love your kids, but raising them to be happy & engaged citizens sometimes feels like climbing Mount Everest without the extra oxygen, and you find yourself screaming at them more than you dare to admit.
  • Your work is stressful and you can’t seem to find a way around it. Whether you love what you do or not, there always seems to be more to do than you can humanly handle in a 24-hour day. Perhaps you’ve tried meditation to relax, read a shelf full of self-help books or been on time-management courses or assertiveness training (“If only I could say ‘no’…”) – but none of it has made any real or lasting difference.
  • You are in a relationship which is great, most of the time – if only your partner wanted more sex, was less distant, spent less time at work (or more time with the kids), did more chores around the house, was less messy, understood you better, argued less, or [fill in your partner’s most annoying trait].
  • You have no idea how to create the life you really want for yourself. There seem to be so many options and so many unknowns, and everyone else has their opinion on what you should do – all the things that they would do in your shoes, but can’t seem to do themselves.

Between the 16 of us, we’ve been there, done that. We’ve experienced the stress, the searching, the lack of fulfillment, the burn-out, the depression and all of the above. And although we come from different walks of life and professional backgrounds, we have one thing in common: We have found a way out of the struggle – and into a new way of being, where we experience more freedom, love, happiness, ease and grace. Whether or not our circumstances have changed much on the outside, our relationships have deepened, we are able to get more done with less effort, and we experience more energy and a greater enjoyment of our lives and work.

What we’ve discovered is the missing link that we all unknowingly seek.

It’s the ‘User Guide to Life’ that makes life so much easier.

We began the One Thought Institute to be able to share professionally with others the simple understanding that brought us these profound changes in our own lives. Now that we are graduating, we’d love to share what we’ve found with you.

Here are a few of the things you will learn:

  • How the power of a conversation can change all of your relationships – whether in business or in your private life, and whether you’re a smooth-talker or a shy person.
  • How changing yourself, or the world, might be a whole lot simpler than you think.
  • The little-known but powerful secret to productivity beyond anything you thought possible.
  • How you can harness the power of genuine creativity, inspiration and leadership to get better results – and don’t be surprised if laziness might be the key to what you want to accomplish in life or business.
  • How to improve your life and work.

Tickets are now available but spaces are limited, so don’t wait until it’s too late. Entrance is free of charge – but we’d love for you to make a donation at the door. Proceeds will go to charity. You will receive all of the necessary details via email once you’ve signed up.

The conference will be held at Central Working Whitechapel, 69-89 Mile End Road, E1 1qf, London E1 4UJ at January 25th, 2015 from 10.00 a.m. till 5.30 p.m.

Help with their mental struggles, stress and difficulties making changes for them selves for the better. In her search for a different way of helping, she came across the principles. This changed her life so profoundly that she knew she had found a way to point people in a direction that would definitely make peoples lives more easy, happy and filled with love and gratitude. LindaWebinarMakeOver2Linda Spaanbroek

Linda Spaanbroek is director and founder of InfoMarketeers, a company that is aimed at helping entrepreneurs to create the business of their dreams with as much fun, freedom and inspiration as possible. In 2011 she won the prestigious award ‘Female solo-entrepreneur of The Netherlands’ and since then has found out that awards and results don’t make you happy. It’s the being that makes all the difference. Over the past 18 months she emerged herself in a new understanding that explains how and why entrepreneurs do their best work and found true ease in doing business (and life!). She is in the middle of a process of gradually moving away from teaching her clients ‘how to’ techniques (that last for a short time) to helping them gain insights in how humans really work (which enable them to live and work from inspiration, creativity and inner leadership). Linda’s websites (in Dutch) can be found at www.infomarketeers.nl and www.alledagenpauze.nl.

martinMartin Sturm

Martin is a psychotherapist and life coach with more than 4 years experience in a variety of healing techniques. He now runs his own 3-Principles-based practice, currently branching out to bring this understanding to the business world. The biggest change for Martin has been the insight that every person is perfectly mentally healthy. Pointing towards this fact is the ground from which he works with his clients.

EmmaEmma Witzenfeld-Saigh

Through this time she took classes at the innate health center, becoming heartened and intensely impacted by the three principles. Discovering a freedom and newness to life, she felt passionate about sharing what she had learned and subsequently enrolled on the One Thought Practitioner Training. She now works with individuals and small groups sharing her profound experience of living within the principles going from feelings of anxiety, frustration, inadequacy and disconnection to a place of engagement, inspiration, harmony and fun. She has a deep love and zest for life, her family and dark chocolate!
